On April 21, 2024, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences released "China's Important Medical Achievements of the 21st Century" and "China's Important Medical Advances of 2023" at the China Medical Development Conference. Novel Medical's self-developed Insight 4D Quantitative SPECT/CT was selected as one of the "Important Medical Advances of 2023."
The selection, focusing on major medical science and technology achievements by Chinese scholars in the 21st century and significant advancements in 2023, included 3 major achievements in the 21st century and 43 important advances in 2023. Novel Medical's Insight 4D Quantitative SPECT/CT stood out from over 330,000 collected achievement data entries, highlighting the medical community's recognition of Yongxin Medical's innovation and research capabilities.
Approved for innovative medical device registration in November 2023, the Insight 4D Quantitative SPECT/CT fills a domestic gap and meets international standards. It features high-throughput SPECT detectors and a 24-row high-performance CT, providing high-sensitivity and high-resolution imaging while supporting integrated nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment.
Novel Medical, dedicated to independent innovation in nuclear medicine technology, established the Tsinghua-Novel Nuclear Medicine Imaging Joint Research Center with Tsinghua University's Department of Engineering Physics. The center continues to develop key SPECT(/CT) technologies, breaking international monopolies and achieving localization.
Looking ahead, Novel Medical will continue to invest in R&D, enhancing China's nuclear medicine molecular imaging equipment, and supporting broader access to advanced nuclear medicine technologies.
