On February 25, 2023, the "2022 Nuclear Medicine Molecular Imaging New Technology Exchange Conference" was held in Beijing, organized by the Nuclear Medicine Equipment and Technology Professional Committee of the China Association of Medical Equipment. The conference focused on new technologies for global molecular imaging and large-scale nuclear medicine equipment. Everbright Medical showcased its animal PET/SPECT/CT system and the SPECT/CT MPH (multi-pinhole) collimator, receiving widespread recognition from attending experts.

During the PET technology presentation, Novel Medical's Product Marketing Manager, Wang Fengshou, introduced their self-developed preclinical molecular imaging system—animal PET/SPECT/CT. This innovative product achieves tri-modal integration, utilizing shared detectors for PET and SPECT, with advanced double-layer crystals and dual-chip technology, excelling in performance and stability. Equipped with a multi-pinhole collimator, the system significantly enhances SPECT's spatial resolution and sensitivity. The animal PET/SPECT/CT supports a wider variety of nuclides, enhancing research applicability and promoting the integration of medical research and clinical practice.

During the SPECT technology presentation, Novel Medical's senior algorithm engineer, Gao Lilei, introduced the self-developed MPH (Multi-Pinhole) collimator imaging technology. This technology enables rapid 3D/4D tomographic data collection of organs such as the heart and thyroid using general SPECT equipment, achieving high-definition imaging. It provides the necessary hardware for cardiac hemodynamic analysis. There is hope that this technology will gain wider clinical application in China's nuclear medicine field.
