From May 22 to 26, at the invitation of the China National Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited China for the first time since taking office in 2019.
On May 22, the China National Atomic Energy Agency handed over a batch of nuclear security equipment donated by Chinese enterprises to the IAEA. Novel Medical participated in this donation by providing its innovative panoramic radiation locating and imaging system. The team demonstrated the system's nuclear radiation detection function to Director General Grossi and other leaders.
The panoramic radiation locating and imaging system can accurately locate lost radiation sources, radioactive materials, radioactive contaminants, and maliciously dispersed radiation sources. It is suitable for nuclear security inspections in crowded venues, large events, and border security, providing 360-degree surveillance for non-traditional security.
Novel Medical will continue to focus on nuclear technology innovation, striving to offer high-quality products and services to global users. The company aims to enhance national nuclear counter-terrorism capabilities and safeguard border security.
