Progressive and diligent.


Jiang Nianming, a Master's graduate from Tsinghua University's Department of Engineering Physics and a current doctoral candidate in Innovation Leadership Engineering, continuously strives for self-improvement and progress. To expand his international perspective and enhance his comprehensive engineering innovation capabilities, he participates in Tsinghua University's Innovation Leadership Engineering PhD program. This program breaks down disciplinary barriers, enhancing his skills in engineering management and innovation, and laying a solid foundation for his team to develop innovative nuclear medicine products


At 38, Jiang Nianming currently serves as the R&D Director of Beijing Everbright Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Vice Chairman of the Corporate Science Association, and a member of the Tongzhou District Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Society.

Since graduating from Tsinghua University's Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Technology program, Jiang Nianming has been engaged in detector module and process design, electronics design, and team management. With extensive R&D experience and a diligent spirit, he has led the company's research team, contributing significantly to China's nuclear medicine and nuclear safety. The technologies he has spearheaded have been successfully commercialized, creating considerable economic and social benefits for the company.


He currently holds 15 authorized patents, including 12 invention patents, 2 utility models, and 1 design patent, with 9 patents under substantive examination. He has received multiple honors, such as the "Beijing Invention Patent Award," "Beijing Outstanding Young Engineer," and "Tongzhou District Science and Technology Award." Under his leadership, his team has also earned accolades such as "Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Team of Tongzhou District" and "Outstanding Home of Science and Technology Workers."


Innovation projects, dedicated to full-scale development


Jiang Nianming spearheaded the "Preclinical Molecular Imaging Trimodal Integrated Machine" project under the Beijing Outstanding Young Engineer Innovation Studio Seed Fund. He led the R&D team to independently develop China's first PET/SPECT/CT multimodal animal imaging system. This system enables single-mode or multimodal imaging for small animals, supporting clinical trials for new drug development in China.

Preclinical molecular imaging products can non-invasively track the metabolism of drugs in animals, verify their pathological properties and toxicity, and significantly improve drug development efficiency. This shortens new drug development cycles and reduces costs, accelerating the process. The product has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Guideline Catalogue for the Promotion and Application of the First (Set) of Major Technical Equipment (2019 Edition)."

Jiang Nianming participated in the Ministry of Science and Technology's "Frontier Innovation Product Development for Medical Devices - Development of Dual-Head Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) Prototype." This breakthrough in developing China's first variable-angle dual-head SPECT breaks the monopoly of international giants, filling the last gap in China's nuclear medicine field.

The imaging chain design of this project has achieved leading domestic image performance standards. It has received the "Innovative Medical Product" certification from the National Medical Products Administration and was included in the Ministry of Science and Technology's "Innovative Medical Device Product Catalogue (2018)" and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Guideline Catalogue for the Promotion and Application of the First (Set) of Major Technical Equipment (2019 Edition)."


Clinical SPECT products play a crucial role in standardizing diagnostic processes, establishing precision medicine concepts, and improving the overall clinical technical level, diagnostic standardization, and comprehensive medical service quality in China's primary and secondary hospitals.


Safeguarding national nuclear security



Jiang Nianming participated in Beijing's "Smart Optical-Guided Nuclear Radiation Safety Hazard Monitoring System for Transportation Hubs" project. This system, boasting international advanced standards, enables quick, sensitive, and visual monitoring of high-flow crowds (and goods) in large areas. It addresses issues like low throughput, space consumption, difficulty in locating and identifying monitoring results, undetected equipment failures, and tracing undetected incidents. The radioactive substance imaging system safeguards national nuclear security.


The product is currently operational at major ports across the country, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Daxing International Airport, and Hengqin Port. It has successfully enhanced nuclear safety levels at these locations, reduced public fear of nuclear threats, and integrated nuclear radiation monitoring with dynamic video technology. This advancement has entered the field of intelligent video security, providing strong technical support and assurance for national nuclear security.

The company will uphold its strategy of differentiated growth based on technological leadership, continuing to develop innovative products. They are currently working on a new generation of internationally leading wide-area panoramic dynamic monitoring systems for harmful nuclear radiation factors, clinical SPECT/CT integrated machines, medical image processing workstations, and other products. Through independent innovation, they aim to provide users with integrated solutions based on radiation detection and imaging technology, ensuring everyone can benefit from the advancements in nuclear technology, and contributing to the leapfrog development of China's nuclear safety and nuclear medicine.
